Here are three tips to make your candles last longer
1. Trim your wick each time you light your candle. This ensures an even burn, the candle won't get too hot or produce too much soot when burning.
2. Make sure you burn your candle in a safe place, therefore avoid lighting next to an open flame (such as a fireplace or cooker). If the candle is placed next to a heat source, it shortens the life of the candle and minimises your enjoyment of the hot throw (scent of the candle when lit).
3. Ensure an even melt before before you extinguish your candle. A melt pool is when the candle melts all the way to the edge of the vessel. This is particularly important for the first burn. An even burn also avoids wax build up along the edge of the vessel.
Enjoy your candle!
